  1. The bust is probably not big enough to fit into that asshole’s asshole. Put you on the spot here, Jonco: are you embarrassed to be a Missourian right now??

  2. I’m not a Limbaugh fan. I think he can be entertaining for a few minutes, but it’s always the same dribble. He gets boring after about 10 minutes. He’s on KMOX, the biggest station in St. Louis, and I’m surprised that they put him, or any other partisan broadcaster on a daily show. It has to alienate half of their possible audience. I’d say the same thing if it were a liberal broadcaster as well. I think the broadcasters should be more neutral and have guests from different points of view as guests. Not just spew their hatred and bias upon a city.

  3. Yes, he’s a broadcaster….but he’s PAID for his opinions. There are no claims of his show being fair and balanced or a news program of any type. Anyone believing him to be a news man probably also gets their news from Jon Stewart or Colbert.

If people hated him on such a grand scale, he wouldn’t have an audience. Without an audience, he’d have no ratings and with no ratings, he wouldn’t have a show. Remember “Air America” the Liberal answer to conservative talk radio? What happened to them? They had no audience, people didn’t listen and the programs were boring as hell.

His stations are usually the highest rated talk stations in their market. KMOX surely knows this and is more than happy to run his show!

Remember, it’s the hall of FAMOUS Missourians! Not the Hall of Famous Missourians we LIKE. You have to admit, he IS famous and he is from Missouri.

AS much as people like Walt Disney, there are still those who believe him to be an anti-semite and racist (or at least a bigot). Is it true? I don’t know, but there is still controversy around him. He’s just not around to take the abuse or defend himself.

Also, have you tried his tea by any chance? It is AWESOME! I’m not a tea drinker, but when you open a bottle of his peach tea…..it smells exactly like a fresh peach. No BS!

My girlfriend and her brother are wacky Libs and love it.

Yep, I happen to be a fan. I don’t agree with everything he says, but more often than not, he makes sense to me.

Just my 4 cents (BTW, where is the “cents” sign on a keyboard these days??)

  4. Rush Limbaugh, living rent free in the minds of angry liberals for over 23 years!

Yes, I’m another happy Rush listener!

If you don’t like what he says, it’s a free country and you can listen to anything else. Only liberals attempt to shut down the free speech of those that do not agree with them!

  5. I guess you got all the readers you need.

This will take two off the list I read every day.

I thought you were pretty stupid, but I hung on–I knew you would prove it beyond a doubt.

  6. I’m just curious Larry Sheldon, what/who in THE HELL are you talking about?

People are entitled to their opinions and have the right to express them, whether you agree with them or not. Just because I don’t agree with Jonco on this matter, doesn’t mean I like or respect him any less.

If you stop reading this blog because of this post, you sir are an idiot.

If disagreeing with you makes someone stupid…that’s pretty sad.

I suspect you’ll be reading these blogs for a long time to come.

  7. Bill,
I bet he’s known as “Larry the Lurker” amongst both his friends…good riddance to bad rubbish, eh?

  8. BillthePainter: Well said, both times. Anybody that doesn’t like Limbaugh can just turn it off, plenty of alternatives on radio, satellite, etc. Funny though how most of what he predicted about the current Wanker in Chief three years ago has come to pass. And we have to wait a few more months before we can turn off Obama.

And if Larry’s mad at Jonco, I can say I’m proud to have met and spent some quality time with the gentleman, more than once, and he is very far from stupid. I would think he could take on a shallow Larry like you with, well, half his brain tied behind his back. One of the hallmarks of his sites over the years has been that he’s usually an Equal Opportunity Annoyer.

Yeah, I like Rush and have for over 20 yrs, and yeah, we all know that Paul in Boca is a proud rock solid lib, but I’ve shared a beer with him as well, and he’s also quite the gentleman.

Odd, isn’t it? Bet you can’t ever imagine how people of different political persuasions can disagree strongly with each other, yet still be able to call each other “friend”. If you are indeed still lurking like we all suspect, I’d recommend you get out a little more and try engaging with people. You’ll probably be surprised to learn that most aren’t out to hurt your feelings, and most aren’t as scary as you think.

  9. Paul and DJ:

    I agree with you 100%!

My girlfriend is an Obama loving, bleeding heart Liberal!

She is my best friend and we get along unbelievably well! We kid each other about our respective beliefs, but we certainly don’t take it seriously enough to matter.

I, too have had the pleasure of meeting our wonderful host in person. While politics never came up, it really doesn’t matter WHAT he believes! I would consider Jonco a friend…even though he is a Cardinals fan!

I would rather know someone who believes in SOMETHING, even if it’s not the same as my beliefs, than know someone who believes in nothing.

What’s the old saying: Stand for something or you’ll fall for anything.

    3 more cents!

  10. As I said, I think he can be entertaining, but it’s always the same thing when I do listen to him. I usually change the channel because I want to hear variety in my radio listening. My main point was that I’m surprised a radio station would let someone on either extreme host a show knowing you’re alienating half of your listeners.

  11. James Earl Ray was famous too and I believe he’s from Missouri (or he lived here anyway) but I don’t see a bust of him in the Capitol.
Who’s tea? Limbaugh has a tea? Like you, I’m not a tea drinker either.

  12. http://www.twoifbytea.com/

Yes, Rush Limbaugh has a tea company. Only available through the website at this time. Some of the proceeds go to the Marine Corps Scholarship Fund.

I absolutely LOVE the stuff, especially the Blueberry and Peach flavors. It’s the only tea I ever drink.

  13. I accidentally deleted a comment for this post. It was in the spam folder. I hit the Empty Spam button before I realized it was a legitimate comment. I saw my name and Limbaugh in it but it was too late to cancel the empty process. If you left a comment here and you don’t see it, please leave it again and I’ll be more careful next time.

  14. I was just trying to figure out if the butt plug was the one on the right side or the left side in the photo?

  15. James Earl Ray wasn’t from MO…he was born in Illinois. But to tell the truth, there’s prob no bust of him in Illinois’ capitol either.

  16. I just looked him up and you’re right. He was from Alton IL, home of Fast Eddies BonAir. He lived in St. Louis for a long time.
